About Us

Our History

Since introducing the yellow "Support Our Troops" ribbon magnet in early 2003, Magnet America's goal has been to provide high quality products at a great price with personal service. With the increase in popularity of the car magnet the need for new and improved designs has also grown. We are excited to create new products every month. From raising support for our firefighters to increasing awareness of Autism to the launch of a Hispanic line, we are eager to meet the requests and needs of each customer. Magnet America International is owned and operated by Paul and Leigh Anne Parker and located in King North Carolina.

Our Quality

As the designs of magnets change the quality our customers have come to expect remains the same. Our manufacturing facility has over 20 years experience in printing rugged, durable, outdoor quality products. What makes us unique?

  • Original art designs
  • Quality UV protected inks that will not fade, flake or chip.
  • Durable, tested non-toxic magnet material with high quality vinyl. All of our products are made using manufacturing techniques that produce the best products available. Many competitors' imitations are of poorer quality.
  • Custom designs available with fast turn around times and no hidden fees.
  • Made in the USA - All of our products and the materials from which they are made are produced in the USA.
  • Widest variety of designs available.

Magnet America is committed to providing the highest quality products and the best possible customer care. We will never compromise quality by printing inferior product to cut costs. We will insure that you, as our customer, are satisfied with the service you are given and the product you receive.

Community Involvement

There is a responsibility of involvement that is expected when creating and selling awareness products. Magnet America is proud to be a part of various events within our own community and beyond. Opportunities that we have been involved in include:

Winston-Salem Relay For Life

Many people have been affected by the tragedy of cancer either in their own life or in the life of someone they love. Every year thousands of individuals across the nation and the world set aside one night to remember those who have lost the battle, and to celebrate those who have won! In May of 2005, Magnet America joined in the Winston Salem Relay to show our support for cancer research. Although it was a wet, rainy, and cold night, the impact made on our team was more than enough reason to sign up for 2006. As Relay 2006 approaches we are excited to offer a new magnet to encourage people to get involved with their local relay. Remember that with each dollar raised we are one step closer to a cure!

Business Accelerator Award

Magnet America is honored in receiving Time Warner Cable’s first annual Business Accelerator Award in recognition of business innovation and excellence in the Piedmont Triad of North Carolina. Time Warner Cable accepted applications from small local businesses less than five years old, and with fewer than 100 employees who demonstrated excellent growth as well as community relations.

Walter Reed Army Medical Center

Serious injuries have become an unfortunate reality for far too many of our soldiers as they serve in the military. In 2005, Magnet America employees and families put into action the phrase “Support Our Troops.” With dozens of cookies and goodies in hand, the Magnet America team visited soldiers at Walter Reed Medical Hospital. The experience of personally thanking soldiers who lost limbs, sight, and mobility for the sake of our freedom left Magnet America employees humbled with an even greater respect for those who serve our country.

Soldier of the Month

Every month Magnet America employees sponsor a soldier in service overseas. This is a genuine effort by the employees themselves to express their appreciation for the men and women in the armed forces. Non-perishable food items, personal products, and other small gifts are collected over the course of the month and then are boxed up and sent to a particular serviceperson in active duty. This is just our way of sending a little support and encouragement to a soldier who may need it most.

International Relations

During 2005, M'sDS became the sole distributor for Magnet America in Japan. The concept of a magnet versus a bumper sticker was a hit for the Japanese. With the rise in popularity, the magnets have caught the attention of many Japanese magazines and news broadcasts. M'sDS and Magnet America have been featured in LUXG; Daytona; Sports Compact; Lightning; and Everblue. In July of 2005, Magnet’s America’s Director of Operations, Micah Pattisall, and M'sDS’ Sales Representative, Cherith Pattisall, were able to visit the offices of M'sDS to discuss the future plans of magnets in Japan. As the Japanese market expands, Magnet America is excited to see magnets spread across the globe.
